Due to huge amount of spam that I have been receiving since the beginning of June, I decided to request word verification for all comments submissions. Apologies for the inconvenience.
Curious to find out how your plantar flexion turned out. I’m finding this worse than before surgery. I’m hoping it’s due to the swelling I still have (6 weeks post). Thanks again for this valuable blog.
ReplyDeleteno problems at all. Same as the other foot. I am 54 now - I can do whatever I like - run, jump, cycle, etc. It does not bother me at all.
DeleteIn my experience, 6 weeks after surgery is very early. If you read my blog carefully, you will see that the recovery took a while. I would say 3 months was the break even, and then it took up to 1 year to further improve. No hurry, make sure you do not damage it again.
Yes, definitely planning on not pushing too hard for some time. And know that this is a gradual improvement process. Thanks for the quick response.
ReplyDeleteHi just wanted to know if you only got the cheilectomy or did you also get a metatarsal osteotomy? Thanks
ReplyDeleteI cannot remember anyone mentioning the metatarsal, but who knows what they really did. I forgot that I ever had a problem with the foot.
